Sorry it's been a while, but here's a little update on how things are going! If you don't have time to watch here's what need to know:

1. I've finished my Bachelor of Communications (majoring in Journalism, Film, Television and Radio) which has been keeping me very busy. Now time to get editing!
2. We've recently filmed another fantastic interview and only have a couple left until filming is completed.
3. Lachie has been doing well and we will be having a scope to check out how his tummy is looking very soon.
4. Keep the week of October 7-13 in your minds as this is Bleeding Disorders Awareness week. We will be hopefully organising an event here in Brisbane but you can get involved wherever you are. It could be as simple as eating cake! We will post an update on this soon.

Talk to you all again soon. Lots of love Charles, Shan and Lachie.

Hi all! Firstly, a quick but heartfelt thank you for all the lovely feedback we have received from the Conversations podcast. It was such a great opportunity for us and we are truly grateful.
Secondly, the podcast has brought quite a few new people to the page. We would like to welcome you all and say thanks for joining us on this journey! Thirdly, we thought that seeing as we have some new people, some of you might have missed seeing our first trailer. Previously we only had it on YouTube, but here it is on Facebook for your viewing pleasure. If you haven't seen it, or if you are watching again, thanks for checking it out.
Finally, we are still organising our next couple of interviews and should have an update soon. As always, thank you all so much for your support!

ABC Conversations

For those who missed hearing it on the radio this morning (or for those overseas), the podcast is now live. A massive thanks to all the team at ABC Conversations for their support! Check out the podcast here:

Lachlan Eddy was born with haemophilia, which makes it difficult for the blood to clot as it should.

Just found out that our ABC Conversations will be airing THIS MORNING at 11am. You can listen on your local ABC station, online, or on the ABC Listen app. It will be on the Conversations website later today:

What a fantastic experience. Huge thanks to Sarah Kanowski for making me feel so comfortable and giving us the opportunity to share our story and raise awareness for bleeding disorders. Our chat on ABC Conversations will go to air sometime in the next couple of weeks. We will keep you posted!

Such a beautiful day here in Southbank. Just about to head into ABC Brisbane studios to record ABC Conversations. Looking forward to chatting about Bleeding Love and raising awareness for bleeding disorders.

Today is World Haemophilia Day. This year's theme is "Sharing knowledge makes us stronger." Sharing our experiences will help increase awareness and hopefully lead to better treatments and improved access to treatment. We are so honoured to share an incredible story of strength, determination and love.

Many people with bleeding disorders have to deal with inhibitors just like Jayden. Life with a bleeding disorder is tough, but when the very treatment that allows you to live a relatively normal life no longer works then things become so much harder.

This is just the beginning of Jayden and Lyn's amazing story and we will be showing more of it in Bleeding Love. Lyn and Jayden are amazing and their never give up spirit is truly inspirational.

Hi everyone!

We've been a bit quiet, still hard at work, but wanted to share some news with you.

Firstly, next Tuesday is World Haemophilia Day. This year's theme is 'Sharing knowledge makes us stronger' so we will be sharing a short video about our recent visit to Sydney. We met with a very courageous and determined young man and his mother and we were really inspired by them. Can't wait to share a little bit of their story with you. Keep your eyes on our page on Tuesday 17th April.

Secondly, we are super excited to be able to share that we will be heading in to ABC Studios here in Brisbane next week to record ABC Conversations with Sarah Kanowski. We'll be talking about Lachie, the Bleeding Love project and spreading some bleeding disorder awareness. The conversation should air in the next couple of weeks.

Finally, we have our next couple of interviews in the pipeline, and we're working on finalising a date for them. We will keep you all posted.

As always, thank you all so much for your support!
